Clichés are anathema to good journalists, yet when it comes to describing our Fellowship, they rush to mind: Once in a lifetime. A dream come true. Serious fun. What else can we say? We provide eight months for you and your family to step away from your daily lives and breathe, explore and grow – and we pay you to do it.
There are more than 80,000 working journalists today and only a handful will get this experience. In other words, if you don’t take it, someone else will. And if you’ll forgive us just one more cliché, life is too short. Now is the time to apply for a Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellowship.
A Note to Employers
Supporting your employee’s application for a Knight-Wallace Fellowship might be one of the smartest moves your company ever makes. We understand the concerns about lending out one of your most valuable players for a year, but what you get in return is priceless: free employee development, leadership preparation, specialty training.
